Super Cheap Interstate Removals

This was the worst removal experience of my life. We had a 3 bedroom house that we moved 7 months earlier and only needed 41 cubic metres, but we booked 45 just in case. Removalist wouldn't listen to our requests and as a result 1/3 of our furniture was left behind. Called the manager in Melbourne and was told they would send another truck the following day and apologised, but assured us he would sort it at no charge, so the first truck left, only to call in the next day and be told it's not their problem and we'd have to pay another $3500 to get our stuff. When they arrived to our new home with the first truck we were told we had to pay full amount even though 1/3 of our furniture was still 2000 ks away. After requesting to talk to owner and 2 hours of arguing they unloaded our belongings and we payed the contractors their fee and got an email saying they would pick up the rest of our belongings in 2 days. 2 weeks later we still had not gotten the rest of our belongings. For 7 days we were told the truck was coming today, then the next day and the next day. It finally arrived at 830pm and was unloaded only to find scratched TV's, broken mirrors, damaged couches, bent shelving, broken glass, damaged bed frames, didnts in fridges due to doors swinging open and alot more. They literally tried to extort us for more money because their removalists only had 2 months experience and didn't know how to pack a truck. I 100% do not recommend and hope this helps someone avoid an absolute removal disaster

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the removalist team who helped us with our move. They were amazing! They arrived on time, worked tirelessly throughout the day, and made sure that everything was unpacked and placed exactly where we wanted it. They made what could have been a stressful experience very easy and hassle-free. We would definitely use their services again in the future.

They rang to say they would be there in 1-5 hours..10 hours later they show up.

Driver had no idea how to reverse the truck

Added items to the list which were charged at a premium price, however they left a heap of stuff due to having no space. Although with the photos I’ve seen, there was heaps of room.

Could clearly tell that the staff where 100% afraid of their jobs caused by fear from management.

Dealing with the call centre and the directly with the manager I can see why, as he came across as a total arsehole.

It all started on the day of the move. We were moving from Sydney to Melbourne. Booked for removing our furniture between 12-4. They arrived at 9.30pm! No real reason was given. We were up till 1.30pm helping them load the truck.

Some of our stuff was left behind as it didn't fit in the truck despite me giving them an inventory of items and NOT taking washer/fridge/dryer. The driver said that the left over furniture can be put onto another truck the next day. That didn't happen for 3 days.

We drove down to Melbourne next day. Our furniture was meant to arrive the day after we arrived in Melbourne. I had to call the company to find out what was going on. They couldn't get a hold of the driver,and it seemed like it didn't bother them. I had the drivers number so i called him and i was told that he had "plans" for that and couldn't deliver.

After multiple phone calls to the company, at 5pm we got told that the furniture will be delivered next day. But no time was given.

The furniture arrived next day. Had big scratches on the bookshelves and dents in our dining table. Called the company and got asked that we can speak to our insurance company. We did get compensated $300 but still haven't received it in my account.

Overall, they have a very poor work ethic and customer service. The price that you get quoted on the website is NOT the total cost you pay. I would certainly never go with them or recommend them again. Terrible experience!!!!!
